Ingenuity, Creativity, and Continuity (IC2) Productions is a student-run entertainment group aimed towards providing students the best nightlife experience in Austin, Texas. The group was founded in the fall of 2003 by four friends interested in forming an organization to expand their reach to others at The University of Texas at Austin. These three words reflect the principles of this organization:
- Ingenuity
- Ingenuity to build a foundation stronger than any who have come before.
- Creativity
- Creativity to encourage people from different talents and backgrounds to come together and flourish at UT Austin.
- Continuity
- Continuity to grow and stay strong for a long time, never to fade away as "just another organization."
- How it all works: Being college students has always made having fun and paying for things hard. IC2 combines the benefits of owning your own business with having fun with a great group of people. Aside from any charity parties that we might have, our revenue from our parties go straight back to our members in the form of family dinners, social events, and free t-shirts. One of the most self-sustaining groups on campus, IC2 is here to stay.
As a student organization, IC2 provides an excellent balance of academics and social life to its members. In fact, many of our members pursue challenging studies such as pre-medical/pharmacy, engineering, and business finance.
As a professional entity, we strive to provide unparalleled, end-to-end solutions and results. Our capacity-shattering successes at Austin's hottest nightclubs have brought critical acclaim among club managers, clients, and guests alike.
We also provide inroads and opportunities to develop one's talent and success beyond the classroom. Play music? We have members who perform with instruments anywhere from the guitar to the turntables. Like to Photoshop? Our club party flyers are designed by IC2 members and distributed by the thousands. In short, we're always showcasing creative minds.
Regardless of our endeavors, our success can always be traced back to our cohesion as a family. As a result of this organizational culture, we're able to transform a crowd of strangers into a synergetic team of close friends.
What We Do
- Social
We are first and foremost a family. Without a strong foundation a building will fall, and we realize that without a strong member base there is little chance for an organization to succeed. Our members show dedication and initiative to bring innovative ideas to help us do what we do. IC2 Productions places much emphasis on keeping a strong membership base through many social events. Looking for more friends or just a new crowd? Come hang out with us during our Date Dashes, Camping trips, Paintballing excursions, and of course, our Club Parties!
- Business
Our business function is IC2's most visible aspect. The secret to our success is delivering on our word, keeping true to our values, always striving to be a better, and preserving the reputation and relationships that we have.
